New Bing Webmaster Tools provide you a simplified, more intuitive experience focused on three key areas: crawl, index and traffic. Its interface is completely designed in Silverlight.
Since the launch of Bing – “The Decision Engine”, Microsoft has looked to improve its indexing methods by creating useful tools and getting feedback from a community of SEO and Webmasters around Bing Webmaster tools.
The new Bing Webmaster Tools interface is completely designed in Silverlight (Microsoft’s competitor for Adobe Flash).
The redesigned Bing Webmaster Tools provide you a simplified, more intuitive experience focused on three key areas: crawl, index and traffic.

The redesigned Bing Webmaster Tools provide you a simplified, more intuitive experience focused on three key areas: crawl, index and traffic. New features, such as Index Explorer and Submit URLs, provide a more comprehensive view as well as better control over how Bing crawls and indexes your sites.
Index Explorer gives you unprecedented access to browse through the Bing index in order to verify which of your directories and pages have been included. Submit URLs gives you the ability to signal which URLs Bing should add to the index.”
This is a great move by Bing in the right direction.
Google Webmaster Tools give a great insight to Google search engine about indexing and prioritizing the Search Ranking. If Bing gets it right they would be able to gather a lot of important data right from the Webmaster Tools.
Dashboard displays a concise view of your websites Crawl Summary, Index Summary, Traffic Summary and crawl error encountered when Bing Search bot visited your site.
This tabs displays the information of pages crawled on your website since last 6 months and makes it easy for webmasters to review this information. It also shows important information about broken links, redirects and pages that might be infected by malware.
You can also submit your sitemap to Bing Search in this tab. (Check the left sidebar)
This tab lets you explorer the pages which have been indexed by Bing Search. In the left sidebar you have options to Submit or Block URLs to Bing Search.
This tab lets you review up to six months of Traffic data and analyze search query performance over time. It shows how many impressions were made for your websites pages as well as the click through rate.
Seems like Bing has decided to make a change in the positive direction with this move. Hope they implement the few features, I mentioned above, since they are desired by a lot of website owners.
