How to Create Smartphone App with Infinite Monkey

Get Registered First
Locate the green button labeled “Let’s Get Started” toward the bottom of the homepage. Click on it.
On the next screen, you will be shown a short introductory video of about 2 minutes. It is an interesting video about monkeys. You can skip the video if you want. Click ‘Get Started” to register an account on Infinite Monkey.
You will be prompted to register to use the machine. You can register with your Google, Facebook, Twitter or other accounts. Click on the account you want to register with.
A new window will pop out to authorize Infinite Monkey. Click Sign In to Allow Twitter to sign in for you.
After signing in, you will be taken directly to your workspace as seen below. It has the tools for setting up your app on the left hand side, followed by a preview of your app in the middle and lastly, a video to guide you through every step of configuring your app on the right hand side. Below the video is the pane where you will be entering required information for your app.
Note that the process of setting up your app is divided into three steps.
Step1: Multifunction Tools
These multifunction tools will help you configure your app easily. The first thing you will do at this step is to enter your Contact Info. The columns to enter your contact info are provided below the video that guides you. After entering all the details, click Save.
Then, return to the Multifunction Tools, and click the next item – App Title. Enter a title for your app in the columns below the video as required, and click Save.
Update the rest of the information for your app this same way. Note that you can customize the splash screen, background color or image as well as font type plus several other aspects of your app. Ensure you save every step as you proceed.
After the last item – App Demographics – click on Next, above the video pane, at the top right hand side of your workspace to move to step 2.
Now your app is loaded with some information.
Step 2: Multifunction Tools
In this step, you will be selecting functionalities for your app as well as their different positions on the app. Note that the app appears blank, showing only the title of the app. You can now drag items (functionalities) from the left hand pane to the app, and configure them below the video pane.
There are several Items to add. As you add them, make sure you configure them at the right hand side, below the video just like we did in step one.
Preview Your App
Note that you can preview how your app will be working every step of the way. To preview your app functionality, click “Preview” below the preview pane.
On the next page, select an item to preview the way it works.
Return to your app after previewing it, and continue the configuration. When you are done configuring your app, select next at the top right hand side of the page. This will take you to step 3 to publish your app.
Step 3: Publishing Information
Step 3 allows you to specify the publishing requirements for your app. Enter all the relevant details – Icon, stores, description, welcome message, tags – just like we did in the previous steps. When you are done, click Save at the bottom of the page.
On the next page, you can publish your app. First you need to agree to the Terms and Conditions by clicking on the square box at the bottom of this page.
A box will pop out. Click on “OK – I understand and agree to these terms”
After doing this, the Publish App button will get highlighted. Hit “Publish App”, and you are done.
