An open world environment in New York City full of civilians, the infected (a lot like zombies) and military. You play as a super powerful protagonist Alex Mercer, shape-shifter, with the power and freedom to slaughter them all. Now, isn’t this fun! The storyline in Prototype was intriguing with the fun element added by the ability to freely roam around the city taking up challenges and messing with the military. Action and combat is nice and made up for a complete game.
Last month, Prototype 2 was released. The setup is again in Manhattan, fourteen months after the events in the original Prototype took place. The main protagonist this time is James Heller while Alex Mercer from the first game acts as the game’s main antagonist this time. The game had a successful release and has been received favorable reviews all over. This theme is based on the Prototype series, covering both the editions of the game.
