Who we are:
Before we talk about who we are, let’s talk about who we are not: We are not tech fanatics or gadget obsessives. We are not here to up our geek cred or to prove we are smarter than everyone. We don’t worship brands or products and thus, we can safely claim that our information is unbiased. We don’t go nuts when Apple announces new products. Although we don’t think Google is evil, but some companies might just be leaning that way. We don’t hide our opinion and are always willing to participate in a healthy debate.
Now, who we are: We are a team of regular guys who love how technology has changed and improved our lives. (It’s plain simple love though – Like we said, we are not obsessed!). We are here to help you understand and guide you through a constantly evolving digital world. Our team of writers and editors may not be the world’s foremost experts in any given topic, but we are really good at taking useful information and turning it into interesting, digestible, user-friendly content. That’s our motto.
We care for our readers and are always here to help in any way possible. Our editors and writers are just a comment or an e-mail away.

Our mission is modest enough – we want to be an information resource, which will help our readers keep up to date with the latest trends in technology and solve day to day tech issue that always seem to come out on nowhere.
All work and no play would make us dull, so we have some fun alongside serious writing.
We occasionally create themes for Windows and Chrome. Our readers love them, as they have been downloaded millions of times. (No Kidding! Check out our themes gallery to see for yourself – Windows 7, Windows 8 and Google Chrome).

Ethics Statement
When it comes to writing articles and reporting new on TechNorms, we embrace the four main principles of the Society of Professional Journalists’ ethics statement:
- Seek truth and report it. Journalists should be honest, fair and courageous in gathering, reporting and interpreting information.
- Minimize harm. Ethical journalists treat sources, subjects and colleagues as human beings deserving of respect.
- Act independently. Journalists should be free of obligation to any interest other than the public’s right to know.
- Be accountable. Journalists are accountable to their readers, listeners, viewers and each other.
When it comes to product or gadget reviews – we make sure that our assessment for them is objective and isn’t influenced or biased in any way. Generally, we are invited to join early betas for online services, test out software preview as well as soon to be released gadgets.
While testing we make sure that our evaluation of the product is based on its merits. Many software and hardware companies appreciate this straightforward approach as they can improve upon any negatives that we uncover. We draw a sharp line between our editorial operation and our advertising sales. We never allow advertisers to influence our coverage in any way. We clearly label sponsored posts as such, in order to distinguish them from posts that are created independently by the editorial staff.
But most importantly, our readers get the absolute truth about anything that we review.
