Subtitles can make or break a foreign language film for most viewers. For those not expecting another language to be spoken during a film or TV show, being able to adjust the way subtitles work in Netflix.

You can access these settings in Your Account, under My Profile in the left-hand column.

From here, you can adjust the size and color, optimizing the way they look so they catch your eye and are easy to read so you don’t get distracted by them.

Profiles are a recent addition to Netflix, and if you’re sharing an account in a home, creating multiple profiles is the way to go. Each person who has a profile can manage their own My Lists and more. They can customize their Taste Preferences and more.

You can access these settings in Your Account, under My Profile to the far right top corner.

Create a profile for each person in your home and have at customizing Netflix for each person.

Viewing Activity

Did you know you could delete your viewing activity? Accidentally click on a questionable movie you don’t want anybody with access to your account to see? Watch the Twilight films and don’t ever want to be reminded of it again? You can delete your activity and pretend your viewing habits never happened.

You can access these settings in Your Account, under My Profile in the right-hand column.

Click the “X” next to anything you want to delete from My Activity and it’s like you never watched it on Netflix before.
