Windows 10 allowed you to copy and paste text and images conveniently throughout the system. However, we always had a complaint about Windows 10 not providing the clipboard manager where we can manage many texts and images together. The clipboard history in Windows 10 was first introduced in the October 2018 update (Version number 1809).
You can manage multiple images and texts up to 4 MB with this clipboard history feature; anything above 4 MB won’t be stored in the history. The only prerequisite to use the copied content feature is to have your Windows 10 version updated to version 1809 or above. You will know how to enable, use, and manage clipboard history in Windows 10 by going through this guide.
How to Enable Clipboard History in Windows 10?
The first thing you need to do to use clipboard history is to enable it from the Settings app. If the clipboard is not enabled, you won’t be able to manage multiple texts together. The only option of copy-paste that will work for you is Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V keyboard shortcuts.
To enable clipboard history, press Windows key + I to open the Settings app and go to the System settings.
Now, go to the Clipboard from the left frame of the Settings window. You then toggle the switch for Clipboard history towards the right to enable it in the Clipboard setting.
You now have clipboard history enabled on your PC.

Do you want to clear all the clipboard items at once, without deleting them one by one?
Well, you can do it by following two ways.

Another option is to go to Settings ➜ System ➜ Clipboard. Then, click on the Clear button below the Clear clipboard data. This will delete multiple items from your clipboard history.
This will only clear the unpinned data from clipboard history. If you wish to remove the pinned clipboard item, you need to delete it using the way mentioned above for deleting individual items.
How to Sync Clipboard History across Devices?
Windows 10 allows you to sync the copied data across multiple devices. To start syncing the clipboard history, you need to login into your Microsoft account.
You can then go to Settings ➜ System ➜ Clipboard and turn on the switch below Sync across devices.
There is also an option for Automatic syncing, which shows up as soon as you turn on sync. You can select ‘Automatically sync text that I copy’ or ‘Never automatically sync text that I copy,’ as per your wish.
