Google+ and YouTubeIf you have not noticed the YouTube logo floating around the right hand side of Google+, you are missing out on a new feature to the fledgling social network.

YouTube has been integrated into Google+ to allow you to quickly search, watch and share videos without having to head to YouTube, login, search and then share the link on Google+ itself.

You can control your video just like any other YouTube video on its site through the built-in video controls.

You can choose from Playlist or Now playing to navigate the results. The Now playing will have what is currently playing in front of you whereas the Playlist gives you the results from the initial search.

You can click on any of the results to start the video.

If you want to share what you found on Google+, click the “Share” button at the top right of the video.

Sharing YouTube video through Google+ YouTube Player

The video will fade out and you will be greeted by the familiar share box for Google+. Enter in your text, choose your Circles and then click “Share” to share the video in your Stream.

Now, those in the Circles you shared with can see the video, comment on it and share it themselves. Google has made it much easier to watch and share videos from YouTube to Google+ without having to have both sites open. The Google+ YouTube Player is an expected addition to the social network.

Does YouTube integration make a difference on Google+?

It was only time before Google offered YouTube integration into its social network. Considering Google owns YouTube, this is a perfect fit and makes it much easier for users to get the best of both sites without having to tab between the two. Sharing and commenting on videos from YouTube on Google+ has been made easier by integrating the video site into Google’s social network.

If you have not worked with the YouTube Player on Google+, check it out and let us know what you think. It is easy to use, and you will be watching videos in no time and sharing them with friends.
