Google Adsense CheckGoogle has recently revealed it will offer full phone support for advertisers using the Adsense system. The company has always been criticized for not offering this feature earlier but lack of traditional phone support has enabled Google to build its global Adsense business which now counts more than 2 million users.

Google revealed its new plans at the company’s annual shareholder meeting. Phone support will be implemented for all Adsense users and publishers may enjoy this feature as well in the future.

“We are working very hard to enable all of our advertisers and publishers to contact us and to be able to get phone support. We’ve been in the process of rolling that out”, confirmed Susan Wojcicki, Google’s senior vice-president of advertising. Google hopes to improve communication between advertisers, publishers and the company with the help of this measure.

Larry Page Approves The Plan to Implement Phone Support:

Larry Page, Google’s CEO also supports this move. He also took part at Google’s annual shareholders’ meeting and presented the advantages of full phone support to the company’s shareholders. Page stated that Google was making the right choice by implementing this system and added that the company continued to pursue its core business, although new technologies and projects were being tried out.

“The gist of your question, that we should be providing better services to publishers is absolutely true. We should have better communication channels and all those things, and these are areas we’re actively working on”, Larry Page explained.

Advertisers and publishers can only use Google’s help pages, forums or other similar means to solve their problems related to the company’s advertising network.

For example, bloggers or site owners who run Google ads can contact Google’s support staff only via email. But receiving a reply can take too much time; hence the method is quite inefficient.  Phone support could help people solve their Adsense issues much faster with minimum financial losses because all they will have to do is pick up the phone and call Google.

It seems that the service will become available very soon, starting from next quarter, according to Susan Wojcicki.

“Within the next quarter we’re moving to allow (publishers and advertisers) to contact Google by phone (for customer support)”, she said answering field questions fired by Wall Street analyst and investors.

This is a welcome move from Google. Communicating via forums and email takes too long and when it comes to issues regarding website revenue, everyone likes to get a quick response. This announcement will make a lot of publishers and advertisers very happy.  All eyes are now on Google to keep its word and announce the start of this service pretty soon.
